Well hello dearest comm!

'Tis a meager offer from me. Since I like this doujin so much, I tried my hand at scanlating it. Let me warn you this is the first time I clean and edit and translate, so I am truly sorry...because there are so many pro scanlation groups out there, and surely my attempts are amusing.

As a side question, do you know if it's proper scanlating etiquette to use someone else's scanlation (in another language other than Japanese) in place of the RAW to translate into English? Because there are a few Traditional Chinese ones that I would love to translate...

Of course, I would leave the original scanlation group's credit page and watermarks in, I just don't want to waste my time doing this...

And to your question: well, I am such a beginner in this scanlation thing, that I think other pro scanlators could give you better pointers and explanations. I didn't have a problem with this, since I owe Hawawa doujin, and I provided the RAW in the first place LOL

But definetely, you have to ask the owner of the RAW/other-language-scanlation for permission to scanlate their work. Only once you get their permision, you can translate into other languages, even if you are planning to leave the credit page and watermarks, please please ask for permission first.

I have the impression that if you don't, sooner or later someone will come back to bitch at you (and with good reason, mind you) LOL So be safe, kids! *horrible sense of humor, i know*

Well, in that case, I'm going to hunt down a RAW and if that doesn't work, I'll scourge the internet until I find a place where I can buy the doujin.


...And if that doesn't work, I'll just leave a loose script of what they're saying just for people that don't understand Chinese to sorta get the cuteness of it all.

Ah, but why don't you just send a message to the person who scanlated the RAW? It may not be the original owner of the RAW, but they could act as mediator or give you a hint on how to contact the RAW owner.

That would be easier than hunting down the RAW by yourself or getting the dou. Although, if you can buy the doujin, that would be ten times better ne? XDDD That's why this doujin lover thinks at least <3

Man, I haven't wanted a doujin this bad since I last hunt down Zilch#3 for my Final Fantasy VII obsession.

I might go ask them, but that'll have to wait a few days because I'm not very good at maneuvering Chinese forums - English ones confuse me enough at times as it is so I'll have to wait till I can get my classmate to do it for me. XD;

And I want it...but ffff. It's sold out everywhere online in my area. (I wonder who's going to Japan this break...maybe I can coax them into feeding the fangirl.)
