Hello everyone! I figured since we're entering a new season here (and since we've gained an amazing 1000+ members since our last one back in June) it's due time for another friending meme!

What non-Hetalia fandoms are you into?: Vagrant Story, Suikoden, Berserk, Vinland Saga, Star Trek Reboot, Princess Tutu, Gankutsuou, Final Fantasy, Megaten (mostly DDS), X/1999, Battlestar Galactica.

Favorite ships/characters in those fandoms?: Magnificent bastards and Hanged Men. Sometimes together.

What do you post about in your journal?: Fic, cosplay, music, the crazy antics I get up to with friends in the city, and general academic nerdery. Also occasionally videos and sound clips of myself singing.

What are you looking for in an LJ-friend?: (this can include anything from 'someone who'll comment' to 'someone to RP with' etc.) People to comment and discuss things with! I'll make no pretenses about being into the intellectual parts of the world and I love prattling on about music and theme and history. So if you're game, then so am I!

Other favorites: Books, Movies, TV, Music?: Favorite books include The Once and Future King and I, Claudius. I'm watching a lot of Mad Men right now and am loving it, and also love Battlestar Galactica and Babylon Five. My favorite movies are The Princess Bride (though the book is even better), Fight Club (same!), and Chinatown.

Music, though, that's a list. Music is my life! Or I hope it will be. I'm an opera nut and a composer, and I aspire to become a working singer. Wagner is my favorite composer, with Schubert and Britten on his heels, and I also love Verdi and Sullivan and many of the new art composers. (And yes, I even listen to dodecaphony for fun.) But on the less orchestra-centric side of things, I listen to a lot of NIN.

Saint Young Men, Dragon Ball, Junjou Romantica, Kodomo no Jikan, Death Note, CLAMP, Lucky☆Star Gravitation, Onani Master Kurosawa, Midori no Hibi, Strawberry Shake Sweet, Kannazuki no Miko, School Days, Sailor Moon (oh God when I find the time to read the manga lskghnashfh♥). I baaaw about the Vampire Chronicles from time to time. And I like Twilight to have a few laughs (in a good way, hardcore haters are kind of lame imho *sadface*).

Um, A Ghost at America's House and of course Cleaning Out the Storage. Buon San Valentino must be mentioned. I absolutely love all the USxUK the cd dramas add. "I thought we would always be together" in Cleaning out the Storage, the 'lovers' tiff' in SOS at the End of the World, all of the moments in Lithuania's Outsourcing, and them showing up together after spending two and a half hours in line at Dunkin' Donuts in the intro track.

What non-Hetalia fandoms are you into?: Katekyo Hitman Reborn, there's not many TV shows, I just pay attention to history and politics in general.

What do you post about in your journal?: Mostly things for me I'd otherwise never remember, but also I sometimes throw in something that's amusing.
What are you looking for in an LJ-friend?: (this can include anything from 'someone who'll comment' to 'someone to RP with' etc.) Well, I suppose comments are nice and all. Really, I don't mind so much. I'm pretty damn tolerant, though I hope you don't mind some foul language every now and then, or a macabre/ perverted sense of humor/ train of thought. You might need some patience as well.
Other favorites: Books, Movies, TV, Music?: Bram Stoker's Dracula, well, pretty much any good horror. Movies. . .Pirates of the Caribbean, Lord of the Rings, Queen of the Damned. I usually just watch documentaries on TV so not much there, and my music tastes. . .vary. I'll listen to pretty much anything.
