It's rather awkward when you have a load of sketch pictures done for a theme just to find that you've lost your tablet ^^' I'm so screwed for tomorrow then -_-'' Drabble, spur of the moment to avoid not submitting anything and spell check is being an ass and auto correcting everything, so sorry if anything is wrong ^^' If not, happy reading~

“Amelia, can you possibly eat with your mouth closed?”
Amelia looked back at Alice with a quizzical expression, her mouth hanging slightly slack and Alice tightened her lips. Seeing the contents of her g-girlfriend mouth was not what she had in mind when Amelia had told her they were going out later.
Now, Amelia made it clear that they were getting something in a burger joint for their thirteenth date/thingy; it was no surprise, and Alice saw nothing more appropriate of the younger, with her fast food addiction and everything and the fact that every single time Amelia got to choose the venue it was the bloody takeaway.
Alice had got to choose the cinema last time and Amelia sat through two hours of Harry Potter and only made three jabs at the magical creatures; mainly because each jab she made at the movie, Alice made one at her side.
“What’s the problem?” she asked, munching on another bite of her burger. Alice sighed, letting it go and picking up a chip instead.
Alice had spent a whole twenty minutes staring in the school bathroom mirror before leaving and after carefully applying makeup that would be gone within the hour and fixing hair that would be standing on end once Amelia caught her in a headlock.
Before Amelia picked her up, she dealt with the wolf whistles Francis and his cronies sent her way, first asking her why she skipped the student council meeting and second when they saw that she was actually wearing lip gloss. The back of her hand ended up wearing the lip gloss before Amelia even showed up.
When Amelia did show up, however, she just grabbed Alice’s hand, chattering about her day and not once asking about her’s and practically dragged her to the establishment they were eating in now.
Alice shoved another chip into her mouth, eyebrows furrowed. Amelia was on her second hamburger and halfway through her massive fries already and Alice had eaten about five chips. The girl was a horrace, yet she still was as well built as the cheerleaders who starved themselves and threw up before they digested.
Alice would be lying if she said it didn’t frustrate her. She didn’t diet or do anything, but if she ate what Amelia ate every day, she’d be double her undisclosed weight within a month. As she thought about this, Amelia finished her fries with a pout, checking to make sure if there were any left in the bottom of the bowl and frowning when she found out there weren’t any.
“Alice, did you nick my fries?” she asked jokingly, poking the side of her girlfriend’s face.
Alice felt a vein in the side of her head throb, but managed to remain calm and collected as she replied, “No. I have my own, why would I take yours?”
Amelia grinned and it Alice wondered that if they were in some kiddy cartoon would her teeth have actually blinded her, over exaggerated sparkle and all. “Just making sure, honey,” she teased, leaning over, this time to pull Alice’s cheeks, catching a glimpse at her chips while she did so. “You eating those?”
“Yes I bloody well am,” Alice snapped then felt herself flush for. She didn’t mean to sound rude, but then again, she never really did.
Amelia backed off, hands up in a surrendering motion. “Okay, but if you don’t finish, I call dibs.”
Alice sighed, ears still slightly red as she took another chip to put in her mouth. To be fair, she wasn’t reluctant to eat them because she didn’t like the stuff. She didn’t eat it very often because it wasn’t very healthy, but she didn’t mind the taste and could see how Amelia was so easily addicted to the stuff.
Amelia was licking her fingers now, finishing off the last morsel of her last burger. When she finished, she had a lost puppy look and her hands fidgeted and Alice had to wonder if the girl could sit still for a minute without touching something or eating. It didn’t seem like a likely possibility.
Alice ate another chip, watching Amelia fidget and read the motivational posters around them. Her hair seemed to fall perfectly on her shoulders, unlike Alice’s scruffy pigtails that would never sit straight for her, no matter what she did with them. She was about to wonder what hairspray Amelia used before remembering that Amelia was so clueless about any girl stuff like that that she probably thought hairspray was just the name of a movie.
Speaking of hair, Alice patted down her own, scowling when she felt a bump in the back and small little hairs sticking up, that would be visible to Amelia right now, as she was sitting directly in front of the window, the sunlight streaming in, although it was lessening as it was getting rather late.
Alice ate another chip, silently waiting for Amelia to say something. But Amelia probably didn’t even notice the awkward silence that was falling between them and Alice had no clue what to say, what to ask. Amelia had already ranted everything that happened every minute of her day under an hour ago and she would find it strange if Alice were to ask again.
Looking up at Amelia, Alice flushed lightly to find Amelia just propped up on one elbow, watching her casually. She sputtered for a few moments, glad that she had swallowed her earlier food before asking, “Why are you staring you git?!”
Amelia sighed, picking up a chip from Alice’s bowl and waving it in front of her. “Open~”
Alice sputtered some more and Amelia took the window of opportunity to shove the fry in Alice’s mouth, Alice only responding with a ‘hummph’ of disapproval.
Taking some time to recover from the attack, Alice began to throw a fit. “What the hell?! Why did you just try to suffocate me with a chip?!”
Amelia huffed, looking away, her cheeks tinted with a hint of pink, though that could have been Alice’s eyes playing tricks on her. “You need to hurry up. I feel like a pig having eaten all of this and you still barely started, so let me help, at least, since I can’t exactly eat them for you without you yelling.
Alice stared, and after a moment, opened her mouth slightly, and not at all docile. Amelia blinked, before a wild grin spread across her face and she grabbed another fry and placed it on Alice’s tongue, chuckling as Alice rolled her eyes, chewing the food.
“Perfect,” Amelia said smiling, and Alice felt her heart thud as she felt underlying tones that Amelia wasn’t just talking about the situation at hand.
“S-shut up,” she mumbled, and it took her a few moments of badly his giggling from her girlfriend for her to realise she was talking with her mouth full, her ears going scalding hot when she did.
“So,” Amelia said, laughing as Alice finished swallowing and opened her mouth again, “How was your day?”
Maybe it wasn’t such a bad day after all.
(Though Harry Potter was still better)
