I dislike it because it's extremely popular and it doesnt make sense... they hardly ever have something to do with each other in all the series ._.

i saw i Prupan while i was there and i went "whaaaaaat?" OπO''

i think it's because both characters are crazy popular in Japan(we love our own America, right? ;>) and shipping them is like awesome times awesome to them. we (at least not the people *i* know) don't find Japan that great in comparison to the other characters so we aren't as predilected to ship him with damn near everybody.
on the other hand, his personality is plain and subtle enough that he can fit with just about anybody which turns him into the Little Black Dress (and oh, boy, was he...).

i don't mind what people feel like shipping (but if you promote AmeRus to me, you get one warning before i knock yer ass out) but, dammit, i wanted USUK doujins and seeing America OR England and then Japan on the cover was really annoying!

also, it bugs me when people insist that their fanon is canon.

USUK is my OTP too (the only pair that's non-negotiable to me in Hetalia), but i can tolerate others who feel like shipping something different out of courtesy and compromise (and porn was involved).

well I USXUK is my otp... I love them... I have a hard time seeing them with other guys (except for very rare times)

but I wouldnt be able to separate them... I like usaxuk way too much that I dont care that much about other pairings...

I've ever had same thought like you, because in Pixiv they're so popular, and it breaks my heart, since that's the pairing I hate most O__o;;
And I thought RussiaxAmerica would win too, because they're so popular in FFn XD
