Summary: Alfred Jones will do anything to protect humanity, even if they hate him for what he is. Arthur Kirkland may be the one thing that will force him to survive, not for others, but for himself.

This was going to be for the Anniversary thing. Then it got way off track and turned into this. I... have no idea where it's going.
