SUMMARY: In the traditions of the Kingdom of Spades, the Crown Prince is to be married on his twentieth birthday to whichever young lady he wants. Unfortunately, Prince Alfred is having a little trouble with that. Cards AU.
(In which Alfred returns home and confronts his parents, with a little bit of help.)
Note: Mods, I don't know if this counts or not, but this is technically the last real chapter of this fanfic. The tenth one is an epilogue. I really hope this counts as being completed before Jan 1, because I don't think I will be able to finish the epilogue on time.
