Favorite Hetalia characters: England - I think I absorbed knowledge of British History by osmosis or something in the UK, and plenty of mannerisms and quirks and lots of little hideaway spots and customs... so, I find him easier to write. Though no doubt I kill all canon xD Still! I have a soft-spot for revolutionary!America and oc!scotlands (any and all).
Favorite Hetalia pairings: USUK, duh. Also, majorly love PruCan. Yes, it's crack - but it would be beautiful, srs crack if the two characters actually... erm... well met officially? Interacted? I mean, if you think about it, you can kinda' see them suiting eachother ;_;
So, what's your favorite thing about America/England?: DYNAMIC. Oh boy, namely the tension from it. On one hand, they have painful history together, and then there's the added problem of America being an ex-colony, and England being an ex-empire, and to each other no less, so either of them belonging romantically to the other would be tricky for them. But then on the other hand we have the way they just keep coming back to each other, the same history which makes things painful binds them closely. The two conflicting hands make it really, really tense, even in established (and very special) 'lationship fiction. Oh! And the cultural mish-mash! The cultures are... actually very similar which only highlights the differences and then the cultures smash into each other and it's even clearer. So, not so much polar opposites, but all the delicious, and glorious attitude of it.
/foam. Also, they're cute, and serious and amusing all within minutes of each other. Nice, versatile pairing, mhm.

What non-Hetalia fandoms are you into?: Ahn, Code Geass, Beyblade, TMoHS, Ouran, Lucifer&Biscuit Hammer, I'm not active in all that many though...
Favorite ships/characters in those fandoms?: CC/Lulu, Kaitaka, Haruhi/Kyouya, etc. etc. Won't talk about Melancholy fandoms for fear of a shipping war ;w;
What do you post about in your journal?: Not much these days, I used to put non-ffic writing there, but not so much these days.
What are you looking for in an LJ-friend?: Actually, I'd love a beta who was willing to coach me on writing smut -shuffles feet- I want to be able to include well-written stuff like that naturally in stories, but since I haven't a clue how to write it I feel a need someone for feedback on it (if only to say "try calling their privates something other than pee pee pole, it might help, but it's just a suggestion") haha.
Also, someone to bounce headcanon and plot off, particularly for the project sample which is below~
