So, what's your favorite thing about America/England?: Everything, I love their relationship, like they fight but it's teasing cause they really care about each other, it's adorkable...Thinking about their history in wars and now they are each others' strongest allies...What's NOT to love?

What non-Hetalia fandoms are you into?: Other than my favorite animes (Pokemon, Hiyokoi, Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood) I like Lost, The Office, Parks and Recreation, and Community.

Favorite ships/characters in those fandoms?: I love Misty from Pokemon and Hiyori from Hiyokoi. As for ships Ash x Misty (which is soo much like UsUk it's scary!), Yuushin x Hiyori, Ling x Lan Fan, Faraday x Charlotte, Jim x Pam, Andy x April, and Jeff x Britta.

What do you post about in your journal?: I don't, I stalk the UsUk community mostly :'D

What are you looking for in an LJ-friend?: Well anyone who wants to friend me can, but I feel like I would like to fangirl with someone over shared shippings of ours :'D

Favorite Hetalia characters: England is my top favorite. Then America. Then Japan. Then... Everyone. I love them all~♥ Though I've been geeking over Estonia a lot lately as well.

Favorite Hetalia pairings: USUK (OTP), AsaKiku, PrUk, Uhh.. Any England pairing really, though USUK is my most spazzed over one. XD Not big one other America pairings too. As for other characters, Spamano, Gerita, DenNor, and such. I'm okay with most pairs, really.

So, what's your favorite thing about America/England?: What isn't? Really, no matter what light you portray America/England-centric relation in, there's depth in there. My favorite thing about the ship itself is how well the characters feed off of each other, whether it be their usual bantering or one of those more solemn/sweet moments, they just go so well together, complimenting each other as characters. And though the fandom has a tendency to twist some of their characteristics, there's really no need. As they are they fit so well together. I could go on and on and on with different aspects, but to save the points anyone apart of this group should be aware of, their derptastic yet incredibly thought provoking relationship is just... splendid. To read and write about.

What non-Hetalia fandoms are you into?: How I Met Your Mother, Haruhi Suzumiya, Toradora, MLP, all that deliciousness. Though I'm not really in the FANDOM so much as I am a fan. Hetalia's my true fandom.

Favorite ships/characters in those fandoms?: Lol, let's see...
HIMYM: Ted/Robin or Barney/Robin, Marshall/Lily. So basically, the logical pairs.

What do you post about in your journal?: As this is a new account (not new to LJ though, lol) there is currently nothing but when I do start journal-ing... It'll most likely be a "Whatever the fuck I feel like posting" journal, with stories and picspams and strange long amounts of jumbled up words sufficing for a post.

Regardless of the form their relationship takes, I can't imagine them not being a part of each other's lives.

What non-Hetalia fandoms are you into?: All things by Naoki Urasawa, Doctor Who, Discworld, Harry Potter, Rose of Versailles, Vinland Saga...other stuff.

So, what's your favorite thing about America/England?: There's just so much to say so I'm going to try keeping this to a minimum since I'm sure that many of guys have seen these reasons before. First off, they have a lovely history to them which is a beautiful progression from a platonic relationship to enemies and then from there, picking up the pieces of a broken relationship and piecing them back together to build up to even more than what they started with. They have their moments of tears and problems but then they also have their sweet and loving moments as well. They're absolutely lovely together, their interactions are priceless and just seeing them together brings a smile on my face.

What non-Hetalia fandoms are you into?: Sooo many. I would have to say my top though are Puella Magi Madoka Magica, Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt (I know, I know.), Godchild, Doctor Who, Disney, Supernatural, Glee, Kyou Kara Maou, Tales of Series, and bloody...I don't know. I could keep on going.

So, what's your favorite thing about America/England?: (Oh yeah, copy & paste) They're both adorable, complex and a heap of fun to draw. With such a lengthily history, you can have them in any time setting and situation. Even making AU art/comics/stories of them makes me feel a lot less guilty compared to other pairings that I have done fan material on. That sense of freedom makes this pairing so appealing. ^^

Anime and manga wise, I like "Giant Robo: The Day the Earth Stood Still", "Black Jack", and "patlabor".

Also, though I'm not truly "active" in them, Fushigi Yuugi, Sailor Moon, CLAMP, Saint Seiya, FF7/8/10, Nintendo in general, Vocaloid, and Harry Potter. I also recently rewatched Outlaw Star and fell in love with it all over again, so I'm looking for whatever remains of the fandom for that show.

Favorite ships/characters in those fandoms?: (Fave characters are bolded) Kurama/Yusuke, Tasuki/Nuriko, Makoto/Ami, Touya/Yukito/Yue, Hyoga/Shun, Tidus/Yuna (Lulu was my favorite).

What do you post about in your journal?: Mostly memes and RL stuff, but I'm hoping to get into the contribution part of fandom again soon-ish. I also occasionally post about things that have sent me into fangasm mode, but that shouldn't be too much of a problem for anyone here, right?

Favorite Hetalia characters: England - I think I absorbed knowledge of British History by osmosis or something in the UK, and plenty of mannerisms and quirks and lots of little hideaway spots and customs... so, I find him easier to write. Though no doubt I kill all canon xD Still! I have a soft-spot for revolutionary!America and oc!scotlands (any and all).

On one hand, they have painful history together, and then there's the added problem of America being an ex-colony, and England being an ex-empire, and to each other no less, so either of them belonging romantically to the other would be tricky for them. But then on the other hand we have the way they just keep coming back to each other, the same history which makes things painful binds them closely. The two conflicting hands make it really, really tense, even in established (and very special) 'lationship fiction. Oh! And the cultural mish-mash! The cultures are... actually very similar which only highlights the differences and then the cultures smash into each other and it's even clearer. So, not so much polar opposites, but all the delicious, and glorious attitude of it.

/foam. Also, they're cute, and serious and amusing all within minutes of each other. Nice, versatile pairing, mhm.
