THIS IS A TRUE THING! I've not stopped being amazed the past few months at just how incredible Hetalia fans are! At least all the ones I've come across! I just want to shake everyone and be like 'DON'T EVER STOP BEING SO AWESOME' xDD;

So, what's your favorite thing about America/England?: I don't really know what strange force pulled me into this fandom --and I'm truly grateful for it--, but I see USUK as cute (and they should be canon). I can never see it as incest. Anys, England is a 'tsuntsun' towards America, while America is quite a 'deredere'. So, yeah.
What non-Hetalia fandoms are you into?: I pretty much like Kuroshitsuji, Baka to Test to Shoukanjuu, and list goes on.
Favorite ships/characters in those fandoms?: Sebastian/Ciel, Alois/Ciel -I find this cute.
What do you post about in your journal?: Stories. Any 'writings' that connect with my mood. In other words, dump.
What are you looking for in an LJ-friend?: (this can include anything from 'someone who'll comment' to 'someone to RP with' etc.) Well, I'm not really picky when it comes to friends and stuffs...and Akie-chan is shy. But I have open arms to all :)

Though honestly, I feel the same amount of excitement each time I come across some amazing fans!

Location: Maryland, USA. Or, to quote myself from the other day: "The state known for delicious steamed crabs, clams and oysters, none of which I can eat very much of because I'm dreadfully allergic to most kinds of shellfish for some reason. OTL"
Favorite Hetalia characters: My top three favorites are America, Canada, and England, but I love pretty much everyone. Ukraine, France, Seychelles, Austria, Switzerland, and Greece rank pretty high, too.
Favorite Hetalia pairings: UK/US/UK is my #1, but I love all the combinations of FACE, Canada/Ukraine, Sweden/Finland, Greece/Japan, Austria/Hungary, Germany/N.Italy... basically, if one can write it as a romantic pairing and keep everyone involved in-character, I'll ship it, no matter whether it's BL, GL, or Het.
I also have this thing for America bottoming to just about everyone, so if a fic or doujin has that, I'm pretty much guaranteed to at least give it a shot.So, what's your favorite thing about America/England?: Oh wow, where to start... umm... well, to keep it short, sweet, and pretty darn honest, I guess you could say everything. ♥
What non-Hetalia fandoms are you into?: Number one in terms of personal interest is Yu Yu Hakusho. It's my One True Fandom like whoa. Also, though I'm not truly "active" in them, Fushigi Yuugi, Sailor Moon, CLAMP, Saint Seiya, FF7/8/10, Nintendo in general, Vocaloid, and Harry Potter. I also recently rewatched Outlaw Star and fell in love with it all over again, so I'm looking for whatever remains of the fandom for that show.
Favorite ships/characters in those fandoms?: (Fave characters are bolded) Kurama/Yusuke, Tasuki/Nuriko, Makoto/Ami, Touya/Yukito/Yue, Hyoga/Shun, Tidus/Yuna (Lulu was my favorite).
What do you post about in your journal?: Mostly memes and RL stuff, but I'm hoping to get into the contribution part of fandom

I also occasionally post about things that have sent me into fangasm mode, but that shouldn't be too much of a problem for anyone here, right?What are you looking for in an LJ-friend?: I'm not very high-maintenance - all I'm looking for is someone to chat and squee and have fun with (that's what fandom's about, right?), who won't mind that I don't update my journal all that often, and who will occasionally leave a comment or two when I do update (I will return the favor). Also one who won't easily become annoyed when I use CAPSLOCK FOR ENTHUSIASM or abuse strikethrough HTML.

Location: Australia, but I was raised in old Blighty -cuddles her dual passports happily- Eurozone, here I come! Ah, no, on second thoughts, looking at that economy....
Favorite Hetalia characters: England - I think I absorbed knowledge of British History by osmosis or something in the UK, and plenty of mannerisms and quirks and lots of little hideaway spots and customs... so, I find him easier to write. Though no doubt I kill all canon xD Still! I have a soft-spot for revolutionary!America and oc!scotlands (any and all).
Favorite Hetalia pairings: USUK, duh. Also, majorly love PruCan. Yes, it's crack - but it would be beautiful, srs crack if the two characters actually... erm... well met officially? Interacted? I mean, if you think about it, you can kinda' see them suiting eachother ;_;
So, what's your favorite thing about America/England?: DYNAMIC. Oh boy, namely the tension from it. On one hand, they have painful history together, and then there's the added problem of America being an ex-colony, and England being an ex-empire, and to each other no less, so either of them belonging romantically to the other would be tricky for them. But then on the other hand we have the way they just keep coming back to each other, the same history which makes things painful binds them closely. The two conflicting hands make it really, really tense, even in established (and very special) 'lationship fiction. Oh! And the cultural mish-mash! The cultures are... actually very similar which only highlights the differences and then the cultures smash into each other and it's even clearer. So, not so much polar opposites, but all the delicious, and glorious attitude of it.
/foam. Also, they're cute, and serious and amusing all within minutes of each other. Nice, versatile pairing, mhm.

What non-Hetalia fandoms are you into?: Ahn, Code Geass, Beyblade, TMoHS, Ouran, Lucifer&Biscuit Hammer, I'm not active in all that many though...
Favorite ships/characters in those fandoms?: CC/Lulu, Kaitaka, Haruhi/Kyouya, etc. etc. Won't talk about Melancholy fandoms for fear of a shipping war ;w;
What do you post about in your journal?: Not much these days, I used to put non-ffic writing there, but not so much these days.
What are you looking for in an LJ-friend?: Actually, I'd love a beta who was willing to coach me on writing smut -shuffles feet- I want to be able to include well-written stuff like that naturally in stories, but since I haven't a clue how to write it I feel a need someone for feedback on it (if only to say "try calling their privates something other than pee pee pole, it might help, but it's just a suggestion") haha.
Also, someone to bounce headcanon and plot off, particularly for the project sample which is below~

Tom Baker was a good doctor - very ten-ish plus scarves. I'm more of a Rose/10 shipper, but I don't like the shoved-in way that was resolved. It was nicer bittersweet. So Allons-y to that ship. How do you think 11 is breaking in?
