Summary: Young America receives a dancing lesson from England and tries to show him that he's grown up now.

( America had been growing all the time lately, and his trousers were too short, and his sleeves rode up his arms, and he was taller than England, for the first time ever, which was just . . . really strange. )

Summary: America has had a crush on England for a long time.  By the time WWII comes around, he has to face that, one way or another.  Title comes from a statement by Sir Winston Churchill: "These two great organisations of the English-speaking democracies, the British Empire and the United States, will have to be somewhat mixed up together in some of their affairs for mutual and general advantage."
