O__o Okay, I was not expecting to do something like this today, but I felt compelled when I heard the song "S.S. Recognize" by Alien Ant Farm. Funny thing was, Alien Ant Farm suddenly provided my head!canon America with a voice (but not with this song, with "These Days" instead). So I started perusing through my album again, and I rediscovered S.S. Recognize. Most of the songs on the album are not happy (although they are USxUK-tastic!) and this one was no exception. Except the lyrics were just so incredibly full of crack that I imagined America singing them and I very nearly died laughing. (I'll tell you, my co-workers were lookin' at me awful funny.) Thus did this song inspire this comic of sorts (it wasn't meant to be one, but it turned out that way) in which America goes stir crazy enough to write these funky lyrics.
( Cracktastic ship lyrics )
Title: I think next time we should fly
Warnings: A baaaad case of Cabin Fever
Summary: England takes teen!colonial!America to his home with him. However, long weeks spent on ships and hyper young boys (who have no sea-legs) do not mix.... at all....
A/N: For some reason, it's very easy for me to imagine that America gets sea-sick easily. Hence his extreme eagerness to find alternative modes of transportation. XDD (Also, ack, I was expecting to do only one pic today, so my drawing will probably be extremely messy... XP)
( In which seaman!England meets his match... )
