Author/Artist: Kotakia.
Characters: America with mentionings of England. Implied AmericaxEngland.
Rating: PG-13 cause of war, mental instability, and language.
Warnings: History stuff. Civil War. State-tans mentioned here and there due to states switching around in the war although they never play main character.
Summary: America kept a diary during one of the turning points of his life, the Civil War. As he looks back, he can't help but be glad it was all in his past and he has put that other side of him down. But it was not an easy road to travel.
Notes before reading: Both the North (Normal America) and the South (The split-personality America) will be writing in the diary. The North's text will be blue, the South's will be red. Also, sorry this stuff's been taking awhile. For some reason my ideas fade after I start on 'em so I end up having to put a lot more time into them than I anticipated. Serious fics ftw? Based off of the Civil War section of this fic.
Quick little A/N: Thanks guys. This community's been making my head buzz all night and I haven't been able to focus. I started this at like 5 PM. I finished at close to 2 AM. I need to learn how to focus. Crossposted to

As Alfred lifted the two uniforms up, a small book dropped to the ground. Where did that come from? Alfred slowly lifted it off and blew the dust off of the cover only to see something that he thought time had erased.
Alfred F. Jones’ Diary of the Presidency of Lincoln, Abraham.
