Warning: This game is unrelated to APH canonically and conceptually. The creator meant it as a short coding experiment and borrowed APH's character designs and it just grew. Characters are not personifications. It's apart of a series of games that take place in the US.

Note: This game is entirely free, but I spent a lot of money on it because a financier backed out. There was a donation drive in which anyone that donates at least seven dollars will be able to get their own NPC, name them and put whatever they want in the joke "development room" hidden in Philadelphia. None of the money will go towards me personally (asides paying off my debt) because my wage is fun and my love of history, but the artists who helped me and some of the musicians - most of whom are unemployed or work menial jobs, need to eat, too. The drive was suppose to end today, but because I am so desperate I'll extent it to the end of this weekend.

Please help end the Americana debt crisis.  Snail mail is fine.

Yeah, I realized I made a typo here

Williamsburg, Virginia

I think my favorite part about making this game is designing towns.

Heh ... ignore the lack of doors.

Lake George, New York

Designing some weird dream dungeon. The only time where I can add all the fun J-RPG nonsense and get away with it!

Woman: Have you not heard of the man who ate his dear pregnant wife? People eating people! Some long dead and in the ground. This colony is going mad.

Woman: It’s all those savages’ fault. They think they can win by starving us?! Ah, I cannot believe we have to take care of that creature. Why are we doing this again?

Woman: Sir Arthur will be furious if that one looks sickly when he comes back, or worse, if it runs away.

Woman: He won’t run away. We told him the most hideous stories of ghosts and beasts. If that did not work, there is always the door’s lock. What a burden that thing is. If Sir Arthur ever comes back here and sees that one ill or escaped, he will be furious.

Woman: He won’t run away. We told him the most hideous stories of ghosts and beasts. If that did not work, there is always the door’s lock. What a burden that thing is.

Alfred: Why are you digging these memories up?

The Snake: I am not, they are here on their own. No depth of earth will hide the stench. Aren’t human beings such terrible, terrible creatures? But wait, wait! Save your hate for the one person that deserves it the most.

Alfred: Who is that?

On a side note, all of the anecdotes used are true stories! The colonists of Jamestown nearly perished. Out of 500 colonists, only 60 remained alive by the end of Winter. Some went nuts and started eating each other. Like one man went mad and salted his pregnant wife and ate her. After he was hung from his thumb and finally confessed what those gnawed up body parties were about. Others began to dig up dead bodies and had them from dinner. Then they were called heretics and were hanged - needless to say, it was time of mass chaos. After John Smith, the amazing diplomat between the Algonquians and colonists, had returned to England due to some injuries, Paramount Chief Wahunsunacawh ordered to stop trading with the English to force them off Tidewater Virginia.

I spend a lot of time thinking about this game and I read a lot. :-S It’s borderline obsessive. On a side note, I am fond of Alfred with long and wild hair.

PLOT SUMMARY:

Born in Algonquian Virginia, “Alfred,” as he was later renamed by the English, was amongst the enigmatic spirits who have guarded civilizations since the beginning of time. Borrowing human-like forms, they live by the sword for the land and people they pledge allegiance to without question or defiance.

As a chapter of world historical began … an era of discovery, an era of empires, spirits across North America mysteriously vanished and in their place was “Alfred.” Due to his alien appearance, some Algonquians considered him a bad omen. However, his days amongst the tribes that would later form the Powhatan Confederacy were cut short when Alfred was whisked away by Arthur of England. As prosperity of the colonies was threatened after the Massacre of 1622 coupled with rival imperial expansion from France, the Dutch Republic and Spain, Alfred was left deep in the wilderness of Shenandoah Valley for safety. But Alfred would be left in complete solitude from humanity for 133 years, until the outbreak of the French and Indian War.

With Arthur fighting on behalf of Great Britain in Europe, the 13 Colonies had no choice but to turn to Alfred who had grown into a young man, but possessed the comprehension of babe. To the eyes of the one who ceased contact with civilization since youth, the world was “new” and full of possibilities. Within thirty years of war, upheaval, and a revolution, Alfred would transform from The Lamb, a gentle creature with an infantile understanding, into The Tyger, one who bears fangs at one of the greatest empires the Earth had ever seen.

Wow. This is.. it's just.. wow. I can't say anything else than 'wow'. It's just so amazing!

But I have a bad feeling about the snake though..

I feel like I'm going to learn a lot more with this game. Good luck! Next time, I'm going to need a longer comment than this short and crappy one.

It's going to take awhile before I can make a donation. For some reason, every time I click on the link, my computer acts up and closes the page.

>_>

I so want an NPC.
