It was more shocking than anything. I wasn't expecting to be thrown to the ground and I could have sworn that he was going for my neck on the second attack (which never came because a friend pulled me out of the way) ...Funny, I was disoriented as she pulled me away and was convinced that my flip-flop had fallen off, so as she was tugging me away I said "My shoe, my shoe!" and once we stopped, I looked down to see that they were both still on...

Odd thing, exactly a year after the attack, I was told that the dog died of this disease where they stop eating/drinking and the spine dissolves...I guess biting me was bad luck...I still feel bad for the dog, though.

I certainly plan to!
