Please, friend away! For some reason I haven't been motivated to read A Dance With Dragons. I think part of it is that I finally got used to the agonizing cliffhanger we were left with at the end of AFFC, and I kind of don't want to have to accustom myself to a new one while GRRM takes however many years to write the next book... ;) But if there are more people on my flist to talk with about it, maybe I'll actually read it.

So, what's your favorite thing about America/England?: What isn't my favorite thing about them? Just the whole dynamic of their relationship makes it a very special one indeed. I love how they can bicker and fight one moment and then kiss and make-up the next (I mean, literally that happens in about every USUK fanfic or doujinshi I read). It's every fangirl's dream relationship, isn't it? I also like how both their 'tsuderism' tendencies also brings in a lot of humor and drama into what can otherwise be a potentially angsty relationship.....IN SHORT, USUK has just the right balance of drama, humor and angst that appeals to me and keeps me interested.

What non-Hetalia fandoms are you into?: MERLIN is the only show I can keep track of nowadays considering my very hectic schedule. But once in a while I do come back to some old favorites of mine like CLAMP for example.

Favorite ships/characters in those fandoms?: Merlin/Arthur! Most definitely. Fai/Kuruogane...erm, I've shipped a lot of characters over the years so I can barely remember them all.

What do you post about in your journal?: I post fanfiction mostly. Some random stuff going on in my life. I'm planning to put up fanart too once I can get my scanner working. As of recent, I haven't posted much due to college taking up most of my time (I'm a lurker too btw) but I'm currently working on a USUK Au fanfic that I'm planning to post in October.

What are you looking for in an LJ-friend?: (this can include anything from 'someone who'll comment' to 'someone to RP with' etc.) Hm, I guess I want a friend who I can message or chat with from time to time, talk to about hetalia stuff or even random real life stuff. Also having skype would be a nice bonus. Basically, I'm just looking for a friend who I can talk to and share interest with because really, I just want to meet new people(desperate) and be friends with them(DESPERATE!).

So, what's your favorite thing about America/England?: Their shared history and mutual squeeing/grudging admiration and the got-yer-backness of it and shared culture and the sometimes-angsty inevitability of it all. Oh, and the porn England topping yesplz.

What non-Hetalia fandoms are you into?: Saiyuki, and I've been into Star Wars, Ouran, the Vorkosigan series, Horatio Hornblower, Howl's Moving Castle, and more, and I love lots of stuff I don't really dive into the fandom for, like O'Brien's Master and Commander, Harry Potter, Terry Pratchett books, Death Note, Azumanga Daioh, and hell, all kindsa stuff.

Favorite ships/characters in those fandoms?: Gojyo/Sanzo, Hakkai/Sanzo, Tamaki/Haruhi, Kyouya/Tamaki, Kennedy/Hornblower, Hornblower or Kennedy + any chick, Howl/Sophie (I slash lots but I loooove het too)

What do you post about in your journal?: fic, RL stuff, some pics and blather. I have a Tumblr under jedishampoo as well for even more random stuff.

What are you looking for in an LJ-friend?: Just someone to fangirl around with, discuss stuff that happens to us, etc. No pressure at all. I read a lot more than I comment but I like to comment, too. ♥
