You can't just leave us there! I love the beginning here, you have such a strong voice and a good sense of humor. I like the fairytale style, but it can get dull, and I think that the comments throughout make it all the more entertaining.

I especially liked "Alfred, er, something" Very cute.

I'm really wondering about what happened in the gap between story starts. Arthur was hiding Alfred, but from what? And how did Arthur come to take care of him? More importantly, what is Russia everyone up to?

This is an excellent beginning. I'm really intrigued!
