...the reality was far, far worse than the fiction from one of Alfred’s terrible post-apocalyptic films...

Our post-apocalyptic films are horrible, it's true. In fact, we come out with so many of them each year, I've kind of lost track of how many different ways the world's supposedly going to end.

We were so desperately in love, practically married already; it was just a matter of paperwork. ‘The United Nations of America and Great Britain’ had a nice ring to it. He gave me Jamestown as a wedding gift.

This made me so very, very happy. Alfred giving Arthur Jamestown = WIN. Gosh, I'm such a history geek. As I said before, I do love "The United Nations of America and Great Britain," it does have a very nice ring to it.

Canada had really been their only option. The once ignored and unnoticed nation had become the safest place in the world to be, and he had taken them all in happily, because that was his nature.

They're staying in Canada? Awesome! |D They could have a secret base under Niagara Falls! The Justice Nation League! ...America would, of course, have delusions of grandeur and occasionally try to fly out of the base to save the world, only to wind up getting fished out of the Niagara River by Arthur xD;; ...I really want to write something like this now xD;;

New Prussia, Ontario

If that was ever created, I would totally vacation there xD

A loud bang distracted them, bouncing off the walls, followed by a long stream of harsh Italian curses.

Feliciano? Really?? :DDD

“You don’t even know where the drive shaft is, idiota,” Feliciano muttered, his head still underneath the hood of the car.

I couldn't help but snicker at this. Oh Feliciano, it's so strange to read you being so irritable (but at the same time, it's kind of awesome :D )

“Hé,” Francis said, clapping his hands. “Alfred has called a meeting for everybody. I believe his phrasing was ‘this shit just got real’.”

AHAHAHA

Alfred took the glasses off, and looked at them, knowing what he would see even before he did it. At the corner of the left lens, a web of thin cracks was spread out over the glass.

I love that fact that Alfred refuses to take off his glasses even if Texas is a bit damaged. It's so very him to cling to something broken, even when he knows that there's no ready way to fix it.

Don't you just love me and my quick updates?

Is that a trick question? XD I'm pretty sure you already know my answer... |D
