Title: Alfred's Special Relationship

Genre: Romance

Word Count: 1,989

Warnings: None.

Summary: Alfred and Arthur have a very special friendship. But it's nothing compared to the special relationship Alfred has with his date Iggy, a character in a virtual dating sim.

(“Special” in a very sad way. “Special” in the way where you use the word “special” because you don’t want to hurt the other person’s feelings by saying what you really think.)

Final FST. Oh boy. This was one long week. I'm really happy I was able to do this event from start to finish. There were times I wanted to flip everything and rage quit, but I guess perseverance won through (along with the lack of sleep on days I worked)

The theme for this FST is about America and England loving each other. America having all certainty about his feelings for England, but England not sure whether he wants to go down this road (given their history with one another) but of course in the end they pull through all obstacles, and love conquers all 'cuz I'm a sap like that.

Before I could think of the other bands, I almost just went fuck it, and made the entire FST using Spice Girls, S Club 7, and N*Sync songs. I'm glad I was able to remember other bands that don't have the letter A in their names. This was quite a difficult challenge for me. *A*

First and foremost, I want to thank each and every one of you who helped make this event a sucess. From the competitors, to those who commented and every one in between. As we were bringing our Summer Camp to a close, we'd received some requests for an Olympics-inspired event. So with a two-day weekend and a massive love of the Olympics, we whipped something up and hoped for the best. Thanks to all of you, it was amazing!

These olympics resulted in over 52 doujinshi being scanned, over 50 amazing fanfics being written, over 20 pieces of beautiful art being drawn, over 20 FSTs being made and a small but talented bunch of icon makers producing their best as well. All of you met the challenges with great enthusiam and we thank you for contributing this to our community!

The Olympics are about the world getting together and ours was no different. Together we celebrated USxUK and in the end, we're all winners here.

And so, it is with great honor, that I announce to you the medalists of our USxUK Olympic Games.
