Notes: The prompt was, in short, America and England go on an adventure. Indiana Jones style. And no, this is not an AU. Countries can go on adventures too, you know. XD

Summary: Arthur's parents, the king and queen of the kingdom of England, attempt to marry off his sister to a man named Alfred from the kingdom of America, but she is killed before he even meets her. Arthur's parents do not want to shame themselves by putting an end to the engagement and force Arthur to dress up like his sister and marry Alfred instead. But can this secret be kept for long?
Notes: Originally I was going to post all of the chapters on December 24th, but then I saw other authors with multiple chapters begin to post them like this, so I thought I'd do the same :)

Original Prompt: America's parents/guardians marry him off to some richer kingdom in order to gain more land, more military power, and the like. His fiancée really is a woman, but is killed before he even meets her. The aforementioned richer kingdom, since they'd already announced the engagement, does not want to shame themselves by putting an end to said engagement; so they make their son England dress up like his sister. (I love how different my summary is from the prompt...xD)
